"The room was gross. There were bugs and ants all over in the bathroom including the toilet. There were no towels. The linen was not clean. There was no one in charge on the property, the kitchen lady had to call someone to check us in. The kitchen lady also left around 7:00 PM so the security guard got us some towels. "Hotel El Faro is a beautiful hotel by the beach with a big swimming pool and a pool bar. The staff at the restaurant and bar were excellent and helpful. Also the cleaning staff was very nice and cooperative with cleaning hours. Our problem was the management of the hotel. The manager would not let all members of our group to check in to the hotel as the hotel had some connection problem with Expedia.
