"Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. "

"This property and stay was absolutely amazing. Its located in a great part of Douro, but feels very private and secluded. Ivo was great to talk to and responded promptly to all our questions. Lidia is absolutely amazing as well and took care of us as if we were her family. The room was charming and clean, the breakfast was great and the pool was very tranquil and relaxing. "Casa da Real Companhia was not what we expected, in any kind of way. Considering the fact that we stayed at a lot of local b&bs in the neighboring area, this was by far the worst experience. Their pictures does not capture the reality of the hotel and it’s location to the nearby surroundings. It is at the foot of very large apartment-building complexes.
