"The bathroom was very much rundown with a broken shower and it didn't feel clean. I also requested a disabled access room which was not honoured."

Fridge, kettle,toaster but nowhere to sit to eat Shower barely worked Hairdryer blew but no heat Looks very neglected from outside. Dead plants in window boxes Was in a good location and had off street parking but glad we were only staying one night. Would not return or recommend to anyone. "

"Stayed purely to catch an early train the next morning, but the hotel was fine for that. It's dated but clean, and the staff were great. Bar good enough for a quiet drink. Definitely get what you pay for, overall."

"The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. It is close to a miller and carter just across the carpark. There is also a well stocked Asda express close by. The breakfast is a included in the price and is very good with lots of choice."

"Stayed here several times over the years. Staff are lovely. Room clean and very very basic. The mattress was awful: obviously well past it's due date for a replacement (I barely slept) Breakfast is either toast/jam or cereal. OK for a one night stay, which I do when visiting friends."
