"I did book 2 King Size Beds which can accomodate 6 people.
I want a big room and seprate for my kid to have a bed to sleep.
They saw me checkin with 3 member family and gave me small room.Hotel Team started convincing me that it's attached 2 beds and nothing different. But when I booked and paid for a room 2 king size beds then Why would I settle for a small Room. Finally in wake of wasting my time I settled to a small room. "A very relaxing experience. The food was simply excellent. And the staff were amazing! Deepak (main staff person) was just fantastic! Loved our stay!"

"We loved staying at the coconut alley. The staff were very kind and helpful. Most of all Mr. Saravanan who created bespoke dishes flawlessly. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunches and desserts. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and in close proximity to the beach. The rooftop also has great views of the sea. We would very highly recommend this to all the travelers who are looking for a peaceful convenient getaway from city life. "

"Overall hotel was unclean and we found hair and stains on the bed. We had booked for two nights, but the hotel was dirty we left after one night even though we would lose the money for the second night. "

"Overall, hotel amenities, service and location was good. Only one downfall, restaurant manager/supervisor who was in charge on 9Sep night (cant recall his name) passed an offensive and unacceptable remark on my way of eating thosai without realising that i’m a tamilian. I think he should just mind his own business and refrain from passing remark while customer having their meals. "

"the top class property near Nagore Dargah . clean and hygienic . the maintenance team in the hotel is not up to the mark . there was water shedding in one of the toilet in our dormitory room . expedia says breakfast included but reception staff shiva said buffet not included which made a bit confusion and discomfort especially when shiva said its the guest responsibility to sort it out with Expedia . but later hotel owner himself involved and gave me breakfast included . thanks to him for...

"It was a terrible experience. We arrived at the hotel at 8:30 AM on 10th April for check-in. The receptionist was extremely rude from the beginning. The first question he asked was whether it was an online booking. When I said yes, he asked us to wait without any explanation. He then asked how much we had paid, even though all the details were already available in the booking confirmation. We were left standing for more than 5 minutes, and he didn’t even have the courtesy to offer us a seat. Eventually, he handed over the key without any proper communication. The room condition was very disappointing. The dustbin cover had not been changed for new guests, the room had a bad smell, and the pathway was not clean. In the morning at 7:15 AM, we requested coffee, but we were told the coffee counter was not open and they could not serve it. This was quite inconvenient. We had informed the reception earlier that we would check out at 1:00 PM instead of 12:00 PM, and this was agreed upon. However, while we were out, we received a call from the same receptionist insisting that we check out at 12:00 PM. When I explained that we had already communicated about the late checkout, he refused to acknowledge it and demanded an additional ₹500 for a one-hour extension. He also clearly stated that late checkout is not allowed for online bookings. To make matters worse, when we returned to the hotel, we found that our room had been locked. The service standards were very poor."
"This is a great place to stay in Kumbakonam. The property is large and has many interesting features. The staff are good. I will visit again possibly in winter.
I have only 2 negatives to say -
1. I had ordered a Beetroot soup and it was almost cold and the quantity was not impressive too. Was just not fair to charge for this.
2. Next day morning breakfast [This was a solo visit] ... no one bothered to ask me for dosa or coffee. Was pathetic.
Overall, I was not impressed by restaurant and value for money in the restaurant.
Next time I will never eat here there are better places like Mangalambika nivas, Gowrikrishna etc. For a vegetarian like me to eat idly and dosa...i need not spend a fortune here. Moreover, things like soup were very disappointing."
