"It’s a no-frills place and it shows. The coin lockers that greet you on the first floor are a giveaway. Instead of letting you check your bags before you check in, you check your bag yourself. As hotels go, it’s like a subway station-you’re sharing it with other commuters. And it might not be luxurious, but that’s okay-especially in Japan where things are safe. Not a stretch limo, but it works just fine."
