"The hotel is just a block and a half from the Tobu Nikko Station (less than 5 min walk) but at night the street is very dark. Front desk staff spoke English and were very friendly. Breakfast was simple but good, with a few western and Japanese options. Staff at the restaurant were super kind. There's a larger supermarket a block away from the hotel but I just found out about it on the day of my departure, so I didn't have a chance to visit. Reviews say they sell Yuba and other gift products for a lower price, as it's just a regular local market."

"Great hotel! Beautiful view from the room! It is a bit of a walk from Nikko which can be lovely after eating way too much food for dinner. Taxis are fairly inexpensive back-and-forth. When I stayed, there was a food truck that showed up for breakfast and dinner options, this was fantastic! The quality of the food was really high. I didn’t try any of the food from the little store that they have on site, but the pizza did smell good. The laundry machines were always busy, so that’s something to be aware of. I would definitely stay again."
