"This place has all you need, on top of being beautiful! On the contrary to other reviews, I think they communicate their facilities very clearly online. Service was also great from the front desk, to the restaurant, to the activity rentals. Pacific Shores has an absolutely beautiful sunset location too. The rooms are more on the dated side maybe but the theyre comfortable and efficient (we were in the suite so we loved the kitchen and washer/dryer!!). Our whale watching tour was also canceled...

"The location is on the beach. There is not much that is within walking distance for restaurants and shops. It is a short drive to the downtown and to Qualicum Beach and to the market in Coombs. The resort is new so it is clean. The gym doesn’t open until 7:00. Coffee was sometimes ready at 6:00 but it depends on the staff. The washer an dryer in our suite was very convenient. It’s good for families with kids. "
