8/10 Good
"The room was clean, but the property definitely needs renovation and updating. The bathroom door needed repair, and there were no extra blankets or pillows available. Additionally, there was a bag of trash left directly outside the room over the weekend. There was a volleyball area outside our room which was in disrepair and had trash on it throughout our weekend stay. The listing also mentioned a campfire, but no campfire was available during our stay. The property's hours of operation were also very limited, from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. When we purchased our tickets to visit the Grand Canyon, we received a $10 food credit. Unfortunately, the restaurant was only open until 5:00 p.m. Once it closed, the nearest restaurant was about 13 miles away, which was inconvenient. The property also advertised walking and hiking trails. However, the trails had been closed a few days before our arrival after Native American artifacts were discovered. I certainly understand the importance of protecting those artifacts, but it would have been helpful to know about the trail closures before arriving, since hiking was one of the activities we expected to enjoy. Overall, the room was clean, but the property would benefit greatly from renovations, repairs, improved amenities, longer operating hours, and better communication when advertised activities are unavailable."
