"The hotel is at an excellent location, the attractions are all within walking distance. The stay was not bad, but the internet signal was poor and there’s no hot water to shower. Staff was helpful in checking the hot water situation and we were told there’s a pipe burst situation causing the inconvenience. "

Housekeeping knocked on door early followed by maintenance which was not urgent and could have been done after checkout time. "

"A very welcome stop while walking the South West Coast Path. Room wasn't ready until about 16.00 (advised 15.00) but the staff were so friendly and welcoming, getting me a drink and genuinely apologetic for the wait. It happens - probably a full check out from the Saturday night and it was no hardship to sit in the garden in the sun. Loved the room. Very well equipped, in keeping with the location, great hot shower, loads of teas/coffees etc and the bed was amazing. Took advantage of the £12.00 offer on roasts after 17.00. Yes, no doubt not as good as would have been at lunch time but £12?! Breakfast next morning was lovely. Small Continental buffet but perfectly adequate, great coffee and nice hot offerings. Would love to go back!"
