"I liked our room it was large had every facility you could need available in it, the bathroom had a bath and shower and was so clean it glistned as was the main room. The meal at our function was beautifully presented and tasted amazing, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The pub attacked next to the hotel was lovely We sat. "Lovely little place in a really peaceful setting. It's also great to see a company embrace sustainability as well.
However, this is also their downfall as well! Unfortunately we were booked in during the hottest weekend of the year so far over May bank holiday and the only room that had proper aircon was reception!
The rest of the place was like an oven. It was awful and uncomfortable, just for this aspect alone.

"Redwing was v clean and the staff v helpful. However, it was advertised as having a snooker table and games in a have room but there was only a fruit machine. Also the air conditioning in the bar/dining area didn't work. Although there was a bar with gin, there was no tonic!!! It was an extremely hot week and the bedrooms were very hot but the fans provided did little to help.1 of the beds in the twin room really needs a new mattress as it was completely sunken in the middle and I would suggest...

"The snacks in the reception are ALL high in sugar.
To use the hairdryer it needs to be pressed down at all times which is very frustrating. A simple on and off switch much more practical and makes it easier to use for people with joint issues.
Shampoo is kindly supplied maybe it would be possible to supply a little conditioner!?
