Very friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable and had a great atmosphere.

The staff here are professional, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and Uli in particular made us feel special. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for the way it treats it's guests, it's comfort and it's proximity to Rothenburg.

Lovely rural location but only 6 miles from Rothenburg. Dog friendly. Pretty room with plenty of hot water and nice shower. Helpful owners. Quiet. Nice restaurant.

Friendly staff, very interesting interior, good breakfast, clean and fresh room, will defenitely stay at the hotel if I am again in the area

Really liked this hotel, a tiny village that has two great hotels, this being the more affordable. Modern interior with lots of design touches and a cool positive vibe. Genuinely friendly staff who are happy to help. A pleasant 2 days spent.

This is a delightful hotel it seems to grow out of the wall of the old city with fantastic views across wooded hills. The rooms are very comfortably and stylishly furnished and room 1 as well as a four post bed has its own private garden which is truly delightful to sit in during the summer. The breakfast room has lovely views across the valley and there is a small terrace to eat outside in good weather. The hotel is in a very quiet spot and ask is very peaceful. This hotel was excellent. We had booked a room for four and were given a three ensuite rooms that opened out as a 'mini suite'. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly. It was about a 10 minute walk into the town which is beautiful. The hotel recommended a 'potato restaurant' which was fantastic!

Managed to get supper despite late arrival after autobahn chaos. Super comfy clean room and lovely generous breakfast. 10/10. Loved it. Thank You!

Amazing, atmospheric place. Beautifully laid out to keep the feel of a fortified manor. My only disappointment was the bed. My room had two singles pushed together, which is fairly normal in Germany. However these were two narrow wooden beds, with the frames higher than the mattress. Whilst the style was in keeping with the room, the actual sleeping space was limited, and I kept kicking the frame during the night. Mattress was comfortable though.

Quiet, comfortable and relaxing couldn’t ask for more, Will definitely stay here again

A stunning place to stay within walking distance of Rothenburg. Beautifully appointed rooms and public spaces. Attention to detail was spot on. Cleanliness was outstanding and the staff were very helpful. Superb breakfast. One of the best rooms I have ever stayed in.

Great staff. Fresh breakfast (if a little unvaried over a week!). Characterful property in great location. Very happy to find.

Great location. within walking distant to the town.

Staff here are lovely and super helpful- hotel is a lovely place to stay- would happily return here

Excellent friendly staff. Modern, clean hotel. Lovely village.

Large room with comfortable beds and nice bed linen. Great location within the old town walls, perfect with a dog. Friendly staff and fantastic breakfast.
