"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "There was poor internet access and not able to watch any tv shows for almost a week!!! At outdoor kitchen were infested with lot of ants.And those dishes were not even cleaned and stored away. Bathroom dirty towels were even reused in bathroom cabinet without changing for fresh cleaned towels. Also at nights, there were loud noises including loud music and conversations right next to our cabin. Very distrurbing noises thru the nights..will never use this resort ever again.."
