"The Village Inn was the perfect place for a stopover while travelling further south. Ideally located a short distance from Northallerton. Large car park, restaurant with a really good menu choice and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with heating you can control yourself. Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc. I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay...

"We stayed for 4 nights at The Crown and relly enjoyed it.Sept.22-25. We booked jast minutte and managed to secure the last room.Very spacios room with usual facilities,no vie from window worth talking about,but hey!Roomwas worm with no heating on.All nice and clean,sserviced daily. We dined in the restaurant,full English etc.available.SEvening meals were excellent,same menu all week,but enough choice to stisfy.Don t know whether vegan/vegetarian available.Staff were friendly and helpful(I have a severe visual impairment) Loved the hotels position in town."

I travelled on my own with my dog and would have been good to have been able to sit in the bar with him and have a drink, also a separate area for people with pets to dine with there dog would be great. "The woodland cabin accommodation was lovely comprising of lounge, bedroom and Bathroom. A, queen bed with no option of a twin and a small but adequate fridge. Highly recommended to book spa treatments online before your stay, we were lucky as there had been some cancellations. Residents only have access 7-9am and 8-9pm! otherwise its £15 pp additional charge. Breakfast plentiful but advise arriving early as items were running out fast and lack of staff caused delays. There is a restaurant/bar, food average nothing exceptional and quite pricy."
