"Lovely old building, staff were really helpful, and friendly. Although our room was cosy (room8), it had everything we needed, and a bonus of a smart TV. The location was perfect, short walk (steep steps) into town, great views of the abbey on the walk down. Good exercise walking back up. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back again."

"We stayed in the small double as we knew we’d be early evening arrival. Reception staff were very cheerful, helpful and explained breakfast time. If you’d rather have your car in their car park definitely phone and do that as on street parking is good if you can get space. Breakfast is buffet style and is very good with continental and full English available. We will stay here again."
