"Great stay at the hotel. Staff were really helpful and polite, although there is not enough in my opinion, 1 staff member at a time to manage checks in’s, the bar and serve food. This seemed and obvious problem during meal times, felt sorry for the staff member that were rushed off their feet. Hotel was clean, room was clean, bed was comfy (can’t of asked for much more). Will be staying again when in the area."

"A friend and I have just returned from spending 4 nights at The Priory Hotel. The staff were helpful,friendly and welcoming. We had single rooms which were roomy the bed and pillows were comfortable. We ate breakfast in the hotel which was excellent and lots of choice . We ate dinner also,out of choice as the menu was good and again the food excellent. We would certainly stay there again. We have also seen their Christmas activities and menus that look amazing."

"With the pub being closed it was difficult to check in. The room was clean, but it remained warm and stuffy. However the breakfast was amazing."

"The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. Allocated a room with a four poster bed, as I'm a little claustrophobic we asked to change room at reception, no problem at all. Overlooking the river with balcony we would definitely stay again in this room. It is a little tired but clean and comfortable."
