"We are were a family of four.Overall the hotel, was really good because the staff’s service was top notch. The food there was tasty and it was good because it had less oil unlike other restaurants outside. The rooms are huge with a nice spacious living room and it has nice scenery with Guilin mountains."

"Yangshuo City has become a big tourist hub (mainly Chinese tourists). The Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is a short taxi (electric scooter ride) to Yangshuo and the surrounding attractions, but sits on a quiet bend of the picturesque Yulong river (almost rivals the Li River Karst tower area in beauty and is a lot less busy). "Lovely stay. Only stayed here for one short night but wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful charming place in an old restored building. Nice area along the Yulong river. Yummy food and resto has a nice terrace. We went back the next day for dinner;) Room is clean and spacious. Staff is helpful and friendly. "

"The property is beautiful, location is great to explore the river, away from the main town. You can get a bike from the property or they can arrange a tour for you. We are more of an independent travellers and therefore happy to cycle our way along the river. The staff is just wonderful. Everyone was so friendly particularly the lady at the reception. Thank you!
