"We had a wonderful stay – everything was just lovely! The room was spotless and comfortable, the breakfast was top class. We really enjoyed the pool and bar too. Great atmosphere all around – would happily come back!"

"The room was very clean, the bed extremely comfortable. Shower was okay but the hair drier wasn't very good. The location was great as was the view from the balcony. The staff were excellent, especially Arjana who was very helpful when we needed to get to Supetar for our ferry. "

"My only complaint is I wish we could have stayed longer! The views from our balcony were breathtaking. The place was just a 10 minute walk from the ferry and a quick walk to the beach, back into town for food, etc. Would definitely recommend. "

"Very nice hotel in the middle of old town….historic building, with modern amenities….. Follow their directions instead of google…. Google will take you through area with lots of steep and uneven stairs…it’s pedestrian area so you will need to walk with your luggage to the front door… Lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly…. Around 10 minutes walk from bus station and ferry terminal…."

"The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the water for showers was lovely and warm. We also had a lovely outside balcony area. On arrival, Mr Teo was waiting to greet us and he gave us maps and told us about places worth visiting, which was much appreciated. A nice place to stay, away from the busy town centre but easily walkable in 15 minutes. "

"Overall great experience! Very welcoming and helpful family-run business, fantastic location, and comfortable accommodations. We were able to book our boat tours through them, they took care of everything for us, and it ended up being a great experience! Good breakfasts in the morning too!"

"Amazing Stay at Porta Maestra – Perfect for a Group Trip Porta Maestra is a beautiful apartment-style accommodation that was perfect for our guys' trip. We were three 30-year-old men and stayed in Apartment 3, located on the top floor. "Great place to stay in Hvar. The room is beautiful and spacious by old world standards. Exactly what we’d hoped for. Communication is excellent. The location is ideal, easy to find and walkable from the ferry port. Feel like a local hanging your laundry on the clothes line over the street below. Wonderful stay. "

"The apartment has a great view of the marina and the main square of town. Bed was comfortable and the staff was more than helpful. The only negative was that the Wifi was not very strong. Don't know if this was a temp issue but was not big enough to ask about. You will surely love this unit. When we return, we will seek this apartment out again!"

"I recently stayed in the Apartment, Sea View (2) at Apartments Bubalo in Hvar and found it to be a beautiful and genuinely relaxing retreat. Inside, it’s cosy and well equipped: the kitchen is practical and thoughtfully equipped, the room is comfortably furnished, with a lovely balcony to watch the sunset. "We stopped off in Hvar for a couple of nights en-route from Dubrovnik to Split and so glad we chose Dela. We had such a relaxing time there. It is a family run establishment and they really go out of their way to help and make your stay special. The Dela is located up a hill just out of town but the family are always on hand to pick you up or drop you off. We were picked up from the ferry and after dining out in the old town so nothing to worry about, it's a pleasant walk downhill into town...

"What a wonderful and affordable place to stay. We were met by a super nice lady who welcomed in to her home, gave us a welcome drink and told us all about what you should do in Hvar and around the island. The apartment was very nice with a cool lounge right outside. Only 10-15 min walk to the city center and 5 minutes to a supermarket. Would definetely recommend this place."
