"This hotel is so unique. It’s a place to stay if you are interested in Spanish history and would like to stay somewhere that honors the past. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the pazo’s history both of the family that owned it and general history of the area. There are quite alot of cats and a few dogs around so it may not be the place for you if you aren’t keen on animals."

"It is a pleasure to write a review of Casa das Capelas. It is a large and beautiful, fully renovated, historical building, set in lovely grounds. My excellent room looked out over rolling countryside. So peaceful. And the owners were extremely hospitable. There is a great patio to have a glass of wine, meet a few locals and eat a light dinner. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area."

"A pesar de utilizarlo practicamente para dormir, el tener el baño en una planta y las habitaciones en otra, (viajamos con un niño discapacitado), acarreaba bastantes inconvenientes. La cocina y el baño, bastante pequeños. Por lo demas,... Correcto. Nada de ruidos, tranquilo, con vistas. Volveremos, pero con otras condiciones de casa. Recomendable"

"Situado en un punto perfecto para poder realizar rutas por la Ribeira Sacra. El alojamiento está muy limpio y la atención es fantástica. La propietaria, Diana, encantadora y dispuesta a ayudarte a planificar rutas o lo que necesites. El bizcocho que pone en el desayuno (además de pan tostado, fruta y zumo) es casero y está muy bueno."
