"The Montvale was/is a nice find. It’s at the edge of downtown, on a quiet street. Recently renovated, the quasi-Victorian colors can skew a bit pink, but stepping out of the elevator into the lovely atrium is a treat. There are comfortable seats to lounge in with friends and soak up the mellow atmosphere. The staff are friendly and happy to help: we had a couple of packages delivered there, and they were waiting for us at check in. The car park is not big enough, and is first come, first park....

"After a grueling drive I was pleasantly surprised to find myself in such a great spot. The restaurant was amazing, the bed was over the top comfortable and my dog was welcome. I would definitely recommend!"

"Potential extra cost for early checkin, I don’t like that because when we travel on road trips our departure times are like 4–5-am so searching for hotel is between 12–1-pm; as a result, with early check in added cost we will not reserve or stay even if we must drive up to 12-hours to find a no early checkin fee applies hotel"
