"My wife and I stayed here for two nights on a weekend and were impressed with the spartan yet functional rooms. Despite the size and pay for what you need aspect, it's a fairly decent value if all you need is a bed and some air conditioning. It's about the size of a citizenM room but without all the technology in the room. Definitely would stay here again with one caveat. We paid for a late checkout (£20 until 1 pm) and had a male maid barge into our room while my wife was sleeping. When...

"Really impressed with this hotel
Shower room well maintained and cleaned spotlessly .
Staff so helpful. Breakfast was all you could as for.
One thing..Our booking was for 2 rooms which we booked at the same time.
When we got to the hotel one room was on the ground floor the other 2nd floor. Both rooms had an Interconnecting door to the room next to it.it would have been nice if they had put us together on the same floor.made no sence to split us up but that honestly is the only thing"

"Overall the stay was very enjoyable. Parking was adequate and the room was very clean. Corridor on my floor could have done with a hoovering. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would happily return."

"Excellent value for money with breakfast included.
The bed linen was fresh and clean and generally clean but slidiing door to ensuite was very hand marked, the window sill needed a good wipe and lower part of large mirror a better clean.
For the price and general overall experience of the stay these would just be areas I would focus on. "

"This is my third time staying at the Old Bell. The first time was with work and the second two times with husband and two children when we took part in local triathlons. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and the beer garden is fantastic with great games for the kids .like chess and jenga. The hotel is about a 10
Min walk to the river Thames where people were paddle boarding and enjoying the water. Love this hotel!!"
