"We arrived at 2:30 pm and the young lady at the desk told us check-in wasn't until 4:00 pm. We asked if the room was ready and she said no. We then asked if she would check if housekeeping could get to it in the next 20-30 minutes which she said she would. Twenty minutes later she hadn't said a word so I asked again and was told it wouldn't be ready for at least an hour at 3:45 pm. The room itself was nice. The location near the old city was great. The breakfast was good."

"Clean room, but the website photos do not accurately depict the hotel's age, poor condition, and general unattractiveness. Staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping, so we had to use our own data. Shower pressure was good, but the tub didn’t drain, and water leaked onto the bathroom floor."

"The hotel is ultra modern, almost to an extreme. It sits on a very busy corner with lots of traffic and so is noisy. We would not stay again for this reason."

"We have stayed here a few times and the staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. I would suggest picking your room carefully as some of the smaller rooms are better suited for men traveling alone than for an older couple. it is lovely and charming over all and a very short walk to the points of interest in Evora. good food for all meals that we had."

"It is a beautiful property. However, if you are not staying here with small children you may be disappointed. The hotel clearly markets itself as very child and family friendly, and it has dedicated children’s areas that are very close to main areas such as the dining room. As a result it is not peaceful in many areas of the property. Even dedicated adult swimming pool hours in the spa are not respected by guests with their children. And the dining room at dinner was not at all peaceful. They should work toward separating the noise from main areas, as they have plenty of space. Also, one should avoid Room 207 as it is adjacent to the housekeeping staging area and one can hear noises of the linen carts throughout the day. "

"This is an updated property in a former olive oil processing facility owned by a local convent. The conversion is very well done and the price is very reasonable for the level of amenities. There is underground parking on site for 10 euros a night"

"Stunningly beautiful! Breakfast surprisingly poorly arranged buffet, inconvenient to use. Shower also very difficult to use. Still enjoyed stay immensely!"
