"Our welcome when we arrived was excellent. Liz was very helpful telling us sbout breakfast etc. Our room no 5 was quite spacious and had a nice view of the hillside of the dale. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Glenn was very efficient and knowledgeable about the area and made you feel relaxed with his banter. The en suite was a tad small but we managed ok. Will return and stay with them again at some point if we are visiting the area."

"The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. Yorkshire Dates National Park is the closest #NationalPark where I went on my study abroad at the University of Leeds. I went #hiking here with two Germans I met in my hall who became my good friends. We spent the whole day there. We walk along the streams, a path that leads two streams, along dry-stone walls, sheep, and limestone. The was this old man we met who pointed to us that there's a hidden falls where most tourist would not see because they'd stop at the first one, look at it and then move on the hike. We managed to get to the Carboniferous limestone area that gives a breathtaking look of the dales.
