"We had a very nice room overlooking the garden. The staff was wonderful, and very helpful. We enjoyed dining at the Bistro for lunch as well."

"The hotel was a little difficult to navigate, however our room was lovely (even with the noisy bird outside the window). The room was a bit small, but the bathroom roomy. The reception area was too small—not convenient for several people to stand to check in. My husband enjoyed the restaurant and bar. Hotel was in a great area. Easy walk to downtown. The Jungle Cafe across the street was a delicious breakfast choice. Free parking is offered. "

"We arrived late and our check in was easy. The next morning, after traveling for over 24 hours, we woke late for breakfast. We were told, that we could get coffee and a crossiant in the Bar. As we were explaining why we were late, a Manager overheard us, and had the Chef, "fix" us a plate. It was amazing, and honestly, set the tone for the rest of our vacation. When we return to Ireland, we will be staying at the Maldron again."

We had booked in advance, and it happened to be when there was a very serious storm in Ireland, so we were without power at home, and the hotel had no power, but their generator was working, so they still accepted us, which was great. Couldn't fault the staff, they were all excellent. The pool wasn't open, which is understandable when there is no power, which was a minor disappointment for...

"The hotel is set in a the center of a very nice fishing village. Everything is within walking distance. The continental breakfast is excellent - especially the coffee!"
