I’ve been to Thailand a few times and the Empress Hotel has to the best hotel I’ve stayed in for service. When I arrived I received a voucher for a free drink and a welcome gift as well as being upgraded and in my room fresh fruit, the staff were just excellent very polite, friendly and helpful, good choice of food at breakfast time, the pool area was good as was my room(1501) If I do come back to Chiang Mai again I will definitely stay at the Empress Hotel

This was a perfect stay, the hotel was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff couldn’t do anything more, even down to the very smallest details on room cleaning. Very impressed and would return in a heartbeat.

The property is small and boutique like (just 14 rooms), very nice and top quality. The staff are what makes the property so nice. Yumi, the manageress could not do enough for us, but also all the other staff too were so nice and welcoming. Breakfast almost seemed like having your own personal chef. The only down sides with the property are what quite a few other guests have commented on, and that is the fact that the hotel is quite a way out of town (a taxi needed both directions), and that the...

Very nice hotel with free tours and cookery lessons. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Very pleasant and efficient staff. Night quality of food options.

We stayed for 2 nights and we were pleased with the variety of food for breakfast, the early check-in given and the easy check out. We were given a connecting room so it was really a very comfortable stay. No hassle.

I stayed here for four nights and was amazed and impressed. The common areas are extremely elegant. My room was one of the best hotel rooms I have had in many years- large, comfortable and incredibly tasteful decoration. There were all sorts of small, generous touches that I really appreciated, like the the contents of the fridge being free until it is replenished (i.e. you get a beer a few cans of soft drink for free), lots and lots of bottled water. When they came to turn the sheets in the...

The best hotel I’ve stayed in for this price! All of the staff were friendly, respectful and attentive. They always go the extra mile, even when we didn’t ask for help they’ve thought of what we might need for our day excursion and offered us bottled water, insect repellent and face masks. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, making breakfast experience such a treat. The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed with all the modern amenities. The room was perfect with a gorgeous...

Great staff and manager

Have stayed here a few times. Great hotel and location

From the moment our group of four ( two couples) arrived the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. We were given a glass of apple juice, refreshing cold towels and map of Chiang Mai showing our location. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds comfy, wi fi works all around the hotel and at night incense sticks were lit outside your room to help stop the midges coming in. The pool is clean and refreshing with solid wood sun beds and complimentary towels, the breakfast choices available...

Amazing hotel, staff are lovely. The hotel is very modern but still has the jungle feel about it, absolutely stunning. The hotel restaurant is also very good. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Excellent room, hotel staff and breakfast - no notes! Lovely team always on hand to help and easy, short walk to the old town and some of the night markets.

Lovely pretty hotel in the centre of the old town. Easy to get anywhere and lovely staff. Would highly recommend it.

I knew the hotel would be fine, but the pics on the web really didn't do this place justice. It's been fairly recently constructed and as such everything is nice and new and very well maintained. It's tucked away down an alley but when you reach the hotel it looks like a palace. My room on the ground floor was very comfortable and right next to the swimming pool. Sitting out on the patio was very pleasant during the evening. The staff were superb and very helpful. The wifi worked without...

Excellent central hotel, staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms and hotel shared areas are beautiful. Highly recommend.

I loved the whole atmoshere of it: staff helped always, were at hand but never too much; traditional interior with many artwork around selected perfectly in balance - not too much but enough to grab your attention. location is perfect too: a walking market is just around the corner on sundays, near great places to eat, easy to access. I would go there anytime and would recommend to anyone.
