"This hotel is in the perfect location to explore Bath. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite and we loved our stay here as a family. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but this did not impact on our stay at all. The bar area is really welcoming and breakfast was delicious. Great stay"

"The Abbey Hotel is conveniently located in Bath, just at the start of the pedestrian area of the city, a few steps from the Roman Baths and Abbey. Our room was comfortable, and we enjoyed the generous breakfast at a very reasonable price."

"The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Best kept secret in the areas."

"Lovely hotel, staff friendly & very helpful. Food was great. Room was clean & had everything we needed. The fans were much appreciated as it was very warm when we stayed."

"This hotel was the most beautiful accommodation of our entire trip. The bed linens were luxurious and the room so well appointed, with thoughtful extras such as classical music playing on the small radio in our room. The staff was very friendly and the location in Bath was perfect; walkable and convenient. Highly recommended; thank you!"

"Great place to stay extremely polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was a lovely experience too. If i had to find a minus point it would be no black out blinds or curtauns in the rooms so as soon as the sun came up the venetian blinds hid nothing, but im just clutching at straws here. Great base for our Cotswolds weekend. Thank you Cricklade House!"

"Charming hotel, ideally situated by the Abbey. Choice of lounges to sit in the evening, loved the decor. It was drizzling so we couldn’t use the outdoor space. Enjoyed a delicious evening meal in the restaurant and full English breakfast next morning. All staff so friendly and welcoming. Loved the stories of the local area involving pigs, emus and tigers!"
