"Really enjoyed it. Have a great time. However, it was advertised that there was four restaurants – the seafood restaurant was not open the entire three weeks we were there. We do not eat sushi. Totally unhappy about that. That left us with only two restaurants and buffet – so for variety we had to go out to restaurants which added to our costs. Advertise four restaurants only give you three – false advertising."

"The facilities at Nirú are top notch, I believe the photos online don’t actually do it justice. The upstairs pool was always quiet, with very friendly and attentive bartending/waiting staff! "The room was spotlessly clean. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the birds fly overhead and the morning scent from the forest was great. We spent at least a couple of hours at the pool each day and enjoyed lunch and drinks there. There are about 125 steps to go down to the pool or beach but the hotel will call a shuttle take you back up to your room. Staff was excellent."
