"Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants."

On checkin there was only 1 towel & 1 water in the room but after a phone call housekeeping quickly brought the 2nd. Tishan is an excellent front desk rep. Super friendly, thorough & helpful. "Fantastic view from room. Pool was large and clean; excellent for laps. Out of coffee and creamer for the room but the office was able to supply some. The first day the room was not serviced. We stayed 5 nights. Seeing monkeys from the room was a delight. Restaurant food was exceptional. The staff was very attentive. We would go back if we return."
