"The hotel is nice. The hotel pub is the same. And the staff is polite. The coffee machine DID NOT WORK in the room. You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. I wanted to charge my laptop and other devices, I didn’t have where. There are two “sockets” on one side and the other of the bed STRICTLY for phone cables. Meaning you insert the cable directly. "The hotel was stunning and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. The location is beautiful and ideal for walking in to town centre. The food was very nice, I can’t critique anything about the hotel, staff or service. I gave the amenities 3/5 only because we didn’t stay long enough to use them."

"It’s decent, needs a bit of maintenance work. Our room wasn’t super clean, bits in the bath and the cupboards had black marks on them.
Hallways smelled a little of manure …
The drinks were expensive too…
Half the spa facilities were not working…
Otherwise, the peacocks are a nice touch and the landscaping is beautiful. Staff are nice and helpful"

"We stayed in an Executive run which was well maintained and spacious if a little dated. Bathroom had been updated but corners had been cut like an old siding on the bath.
Air con worked well and the room was quiet overnight.
Breakfast wasn’t great. Limited choices and the eggs were terrible both scrambled and fried, but it was only £10 each.
It was good value for money overall and convenient for a stroll into town to catch the shuttle bus to Llangollen Pavilion.

"We stayed in a twin room .beds comfortable but room very narrow. No mirror to do hair.toilet roll holder broken.
Friendly staff in restaurant, lovely food. Not much disabled parking which made things difficult. Lovely treatments in spa."

"The room we had was fairly run down. In particular it had a strong and unpleasant odour. At first we thought having the windows open would help. But part way through the night the smell was so terrible we were awake.
In the morning we realised it must have been mildew and mold. Some of the glass window pains had black mould, not only around the edges but in the middle of the glass.
We left pretty early because we couldn't be in the room anymore. On check out we let the staff know and they...
