"Soooo we arrived on day 1 to find the cabin hadn't been cleaned after the last occupants. Mildew towels on the carpet, etc. After a series of calls, the cleaning crew came in the evening. "This place was not as advertised, and should honestly be taken down as an option to stay at until things get improved or drop the price significantly. It smelled horrible and old. It was freezing. "The staff at this hotel was exceptional. Every single member was incredibly helpful and kind. We were trying to find the pool when a staff member noticed us and said, “You look like you’re trying to find the pool.” He then walked us right there. (I think it was someone from the maintenance department), but I’m not sure. He was amazing. Most associates would have walked right past us and not helped. He not only helped us but did so without us having to ask. Once we got to the pool, we noticed that the door was broken (it was totally user error). Another associate came to help us out and made us feel like we were idiots. I didn’t drive to the hotel; I got an Uber. However, an hour before checkout, I got a rental car. They waved us in and out without charging us the parking fee because we were there for a short time. I will definitely be back to this location. Everyone went out of their way to make our staycation a great experience, and it didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. ❤️❤️"
