"Overall, my experience was great. We had a tough time at check in. The two attendants at the front desk weren’t the nicest. However, the other staff that we encountered more than made up for it. Rooms were clean, I made good use of the fitness center, breakfast exceeded my expectations. Next time, I hope the pool is back open. "

"My stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Birmingham was extremely disappointing and far below what you’d expect from a Hilton property.
They charge for parking, yet the lot is poorly maintained with trash scattered around, and the speed bumps are unnecessarily high to the point of being ridiculous. Charging extra for that level of upkeep is unacceptable.
The problems only got worse inside. The pool was dirty, the room had insects running around , and the bathroom was in terrible condition. The...

"Room was in desperate need of a good cleaning. Shower did not work. We had to valet the car and it came back in HORRIBLE condition, someone had smoked in the car, it had 50 miles more on the car than when we dropping it off. The seats were pulled all the way forward and all driver settings had been erased. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!"

"First let me say that the staff is amazing, very responsive and helpful. The place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Although the condos are well equipped and modern, we did notice some wear and tear on the furniture. This was my second visit here and I would definitely stay again! "
