"This is an island to go to If you want a soft and calm holiday. We came here from a resort island on the north atoll and this is quite different. Here most guests are older and there are few wedding couples. Guest from europe and few russians. (Other resorts have lots of russian tourists) Tempo is lovely slowmotion on this small island and you walk around it in 20 minutes. What is uniquely with Makunudu? "Unfortunately the room that I received didn't have ventilation and because of that the smell was awful. The refresh it with some room fragrance but after 2 hour the smell has return and I really could sleep. All night I had to breath through my shirt, but even so the smell persisted. The staff are friendly and helpful. "

"We had visited Eriyadu last year & although the accommodation & public areas were now looking a little tired the actual island, staff & the whole experience was like our first ever visit to the Maldives 25 years ago. On returning they had completed a planned full refurbishment of all rooms & public areas and the transformation was amazing. Very modern & contemporary while keeping the relaxed feel of the island."
