"Really good Hotel in the centre of Shrewsbury. From a welcome Sherry on arrival to a fantastic breakfast on leaving, we had a great stay. The room was spacious and clean, barring a rather large cobweb in one of corners. Everything we needed was there."

"The room was clean tidy and the bed was very comfy. The shower was not very powerful. Soap was provided, but no moisturiser..
I had a drink at the bar which had no ice as the machine was broken. I used the swimming pool but looked fairly cloudy and the locker room didn’t have locks unless you bought your own. Clean towels Were provided. Overall this is a nice hotel but maintenance needs improving."

"Lots to like here. Room was spacious and clean, staff were courteous and helpful, parking was ample, and location was a very pleasant stroll from town, 10-15 mins depending on pace. We ate here and the food was good, if a touch on the pricey side. We also had a massage which sadly wasn’t to our taste; the experience itself was good, again nice staff, pleasant surroundings, but we opted for deep tissue and got what I would describe as Swedish. It’s our own fault really as we should have asked for...

"Gorgeous hall with lake view, super helpful staff , comfortable room, great breakfast … unfortunately the jacuzzi and thermal suite in the spa were not working so for a weekend spa break it’s not good luckily we had other things planned and for us it was a lovely weekend escape"

"Ideal place to stay whether on business or personal. Accommodation is separate block in carpark, which has plenty of parking. Marston’s restaurant food is excellent. Room was great with aircon if needed. Note 2 story with stairs, so best to phone if infirm so you can secure a first floor room.
8 full fat EV chargers on site, including Chademo. Next door is BP service station with Asda local, Subway and Starbucks. Burger King also next door.
Centrally located for business park but makes an ideal...

"No running water in the leisure building between 2.30pm and 4.30pm which we didnt know until we were already in pool so no showers etc. Kids in the adult only/spa guests only area playing in the jacuzzi/spa pool, roudy group in the relaxation room, reception apologised but didnt seem bothered. Significant mould in the cafe/reception area. Hoses laying untaped on the footpath.
Rooms showing lots of signs of age and desperately in need of TLC (shower grout, peeling paint and wallpaper, frayed...
