"This is a beautiful property . Very spacious rooms . Very comfortable beds quite clean . The mini bar had complementary drinks but didn't know it till the next evening when we asked as we dint want to be charged any extra . Spa wasn't too bad realy they even had an area outside the spa to chill in the sun. The *1630* had amazing food loved it . The breakfast was a delight with so much variety. "The Prince Rupert is centrally located on Butchers Row - lovely shops and pubs close by as well as the Cop and the English Bridge and the Dingle. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially front desk staff and our wonderful server at breakfast. She didn’t miss a beat and we enjoyed her. We requested an upgrade and our Queen Charlotte room was beautiful.
Strongly suggest mini fridges in the rooms."

"Second time staying there, lovely old place. Bar well stocked, dinner and breakfast excellent. Given single room at top of hotel - stonking hot but supplied with fan which helped. Bathtub comfortable but needs a grab rail on the wall for those of us less abled to help us climb out. Otherwise can’t fault it!"

"Unfortunately, we had a terrible night's stay here the room was so hot, it was like a sauna. We called down, told nothing could be done. After raising this point the next day, and promised call backs for over a month now, still nothing is done or taken seriously. "Really enjoyable experience, lovely setting and really helpful staff.
The only issue was with the air conditioning not working during this heatwave. Would be good to be fixed to avoid this.
