"Nice manor-style hotel with well equipped rooms and bathroom, excellent English-Style and other breakfast options, nice bar and outside dining areas. The rooms are old -style but confortable with an excellent price-quality ratio. The only drawback was the absence of AC during our mid-july hot summer days stay but the ventilator + opened window was OK to sleep well anyways. "Great location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, nice toiletries and great selection of coffee and teas. Great food and drinks available onsite.
Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there. Robes would be nice as well as body lotion or hand cream in the bathroom."

"easy access for drivers and good parking. Welcoming , happy staff, room was clean and had everything you need. Decor a little tired!

"Breakfast is average and good parking facilities.
Good food pub and eat but stay was terrible with boiling hot room stay they provided a single table fan for a family of four and the windows weren’t able to be opened with the smell off the dusty carpets overall can’t recommend for a family stay"

"A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our room on the second floor was very small and hot, but the others are bigger. Best to ask David before you book. Would definitely stay again."
