"The building is beautiful. High ceilings and original fixtures make this a special place to stay. Located in a great location near to transport, shops, restaurants and bars. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Shannon and the other staff are friendly and efficient and made our stay enjoyable. Food was tasty in the restaurant. Breakfast in morning was good and again the staff serving were friendly. The room had everything we needed and a fantastic view of the town...

"Lovely old hotel very clean and comfortable Nice change from usual modern style hotels "

"From the moment we stepped in and were greeted by the doorman it was the best stay. We left our bag as we arrived early. On returning to the hotel we were checked in and given our key and we enjoyed a drink in the bar first. The room was upgraded for my husband's birthday and it was beautifully adorned with lots of balloons and a lovely message with chocolates from the manager. Such a lovely gesture to be so spoilt. "The staff were great and the food good. There was a lovely garden area we could have drinks in. There was no decent decaffeinated coffee for breakfast only nasty instant. Why? Our room was nice but there as no air conditioning and the windows were high up so we had to stand in a chair to open them. One didn’t open. It’s not healthy not to be able to have fresh air in a room. "

"Lovely place to stay with children. Very welcoming and the staff are so kind and polite. The room was perfect for what we needed. And had air con which was great as it was very hot the weekend we stayed. Breakfast for us all were very nice and we were offered fresh pancakes the following day for the children. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it."

"Stop over night, was great. We arrived late (11.30pm) after a wedding and check in was a breeze. We booked in to swim the filling morning no problem. Fabulous sized room, really spacious for a family of four. Great breakfast with lots of dairy and gluten free options available "
