"Food is excellent and beds are very comfy. It's old-fashioned in that it's a conversion of an older building, so windows are single-glazed and the doors open with actual keys. But the rooms have everything you'd expect from a professionally run establishment. Staff are all friendly and professional though you sometimes have to seek them out – hardly surprising as there are only six rooms so they can't have someone permanently on duty."

"Lovely compact room in the main building. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. One of the best cooked breakfasts we've had - excellent quality and nicely presented. "Lovely tidy property, had all the mods and cons needed but the walls were a little thin and we could hear our nextdoor neighbours, And they could probably hear us. The hot tub was a selling point for us but unfortunately it wasn’t the cleanest and couldn’t use it for long. (2 evenings max). Also, the bed was a little too short for my 6ft4 husband."

"Peaceful location, loved the indoor outdoor hot tub. Electric blanket and log burner nice touch. The bus is so quirky and we have a great time/ loads of outdoor space, amazing view of the sunset from the hot tub. Well equipped kitchen, nice to have teabags, salt and pepper. Nice treats like popcorn, Welsh cakes and crisps We used the outdoor/ indoor shower instead of the inside small bath with shower over it. "
