"It is an old hotel but a very well kept hotel. The Japanese style rooms was a great experience for my friends and family. Amazing view from our rooms and throughout the hotel of Mount Fuji. Beautiful hostel grounds to walk around and very peaceful. "

"Our stay at La Vista Fujikawaguchiko was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They also provide pajamas/loungewear, which were extremely comfortable and a nice extra touch. We loved having a balcony with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji, especially in the morning and at sunset. The onsen and public baths were relaxing, and we especially enjoyed the private onsens as well. The location was peaceful and quiet, with gorgeous scenery all around. I highly recommend taking advantage of the hotel shuttle service to get to and from Kawaguchiko Station, as getting Ubers was more difficult than not, especially for a larger group. The nearest FamilyMart and 7-Eleven are about a mile away, so the breakfast buffet is definitely worth adding to your stay. There was a wide variety of options, and it was a great way to start the day before heading out. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Honestly, this was the best stay of all the places we visited in Japan. We would definitely stay at La Vista Fujikawaguchiko again."

We especially enjoyed the personalized service, delicious BBQ and breakfast, unique outdoor sauna, hand-ground coffee in room, excellent selection of unique & local fruity alcoholic beverages in the fridge, heated beds (so comfortable!), hammock, and strong air conditioning. "It is too overpriced, very old and cleaning room is lazy! Two day night stays for 350000 yen with no breakfast? However, it is Dec 27 and 28 ! I expected better! "
