"Our stay at Vila Gale Douro Vineyards was absolutely wonderful. The views were breathtaking, the amenities were excellent, and the breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of options each morning. The room was comfortable, spacious, and perfect for our little family. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly enjoyed our time here. I highly recommend staying at Vila Gale if you’re visiting the Douro Valley, it was an unforgettable experience."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta de la Rosa. The views over the Douro Valley are absolutely beautiful and made for a very relaxing experience. We loved the onsite restaurant and spending time at Tim’s Terrace, both of which made the most of the stunning surroundings. The wine tour and tasting were a highlight, with knowledgeable staff and excellent wines. The property was clean, quiet, and peaceful throughout our stay. "This place is stunning, simply put. They thought of everything - none of the details were missed. Hairdryer in room, spacious bathrooms and spotless rooms, lovely breakfast included. The views, flowers, sounds of birds and refreshing pool are what makes this a special place. Very close to train station in Regua, with lots of restaurants close by."

"We had a comfortable room with a patio overlooking the Douro River. Staff very friendly.
The only negative from our point of view was the window from the shower into the room. The botton 2/3 rds are translucent and upper 1/3 clear. If a light is turned on in bathroom bedroom is lit up as well . Also the obvious privacy issues. Other than the the room , hotel , staff, bar and restaurant are great."

"The staff here, aside from the lovely man in the dining room for breakfast , were minimalist at best. The front desk staff were well below par. The hotel is pretty basic and the town itself doesn’t have a lot to offer - look elsewhere for a Douro experience unless you want to see the church stairs."
