"The Hornsbury Mill is a very charming hotel, set in beautiful grounds with a little lake. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the bed comfortable. I had the full English (vegan) breakfast and it was very tasty. The one complaint I had was that when the very charming old mill wheel is on and turning (which they switch off at 8pm), the noise made a constant thud in my room and bothered me a little. I assume it won’t be too much of a bother though to most people, who would be in bed well...

"A really lovely night's stay. Friendly and quick check in. Warm and comfortable room, beautifully furnished. And an amazing shower! Breakfast was fantastic, a very good selection which was freshly cooked to order. There is a friendly pub over the road which serves basic, but tasty food in the evenings. "This was the second time that we have stayed in this lovely old pub and our experience was just as good as on our first visit. The food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent and the service from Matt and his team is as good as you’ll find any pub in the UK.
