"Room was large and pleasant enough but absolutely awful night sleep due to a very noisy radiator next to the bed through the night. Very disappointing for the price paid."

"Bar menu was very limited & the dining room was closed. The room was poor even though it was supposed to be an ‘executive double .’ I really don't think the room had been serviced correctly after the previous guest . I needed to ask for a clean duvet cover. That says it all. However , the receptionist was very pleasant and very helpful. Apparently the hotel is due to be refurbished & in my humble opinion that cant come soon enough . Great view though !! "

"Hotel was stoplessly clean. Check in quick and easy. Room was spacious, and again spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable and breakfast the next day was delicious Highly recommend 5 stars from me."

"I was made welcome by friendly and professional staff from start to finish. There was also a fire alarm event at the start of my stay which I thought was managed well but I would reccommend using a Megaphone when communicating directions with the evacuated guests."

I phoned to say that I would be late for final check in (10pm) and Alexandra, the lovely lady on the front desk, made sure I was checked in dignity and made me feel so safe about arriving late. "We loved everything the the cave hotel offered,this time we only had a one night stay and our last stay was quite a while ago but on returning we certainly where not disappointed it was special we had our evening meal with them and that was wonderful we couldn’t take breakfast much to our disappointment it our room was really clean and welcoming really quite special as was everything about the CaveCastle Hotel Well done to every member of staff"

"The property is in need of a refurb as it is looking tired in places. Staff were helpful and polite. Outside seating was insuficient on this sunny weekend. Cooked breakfast was good but the continental (cheese & ham etc) was woefully poor. In the light of recent events the security was bad, entry to the rooms via lift and stairs was not controlled in any way so anyone could walk in off the street and have access. Location, location, location is the big plus for this hotel all in all a very enjoyable stay."
