"My wife and I had a great time at the Hoxton Hotel in Vienna, Austria. The front desk staff along with everybody in the breakfast area provided us with outstanding service. The selection for breakfast was unmatched and the food delicious. Our room was neat, clean and comfortable and we loved the bathroom. "The location is excellent. It sits on a quiet cobblestone street, but you can walk to the MuseumsQuartier in under five minutes. The neighborhood has nice local cafes and feels less crowded than the main tourist areas. The room was clean and comfortable, but the noise from the tram could be heard in the night. The bed was good, and the bathroom had a nice shower with great water pressure. The staff members were really nice and helpful. This is a comfortable, well-located place to stay for a weekend in Vienna. Would happily stay here again."

"Room ok - only stayed two nights. There was a chip in the bottom of the sink which gave the impression it hadn't been cleaned properly until you realised it was chipped and the plug wasn't working properly. Light at one side of the bed not working - plug on the other side not working. Bed & pillows were very comfortable. States black out curtains but light filtered through the top. Buffet style breakfast which was average - could do with 2 coffee machines to help reduce queuing time. Staff very polite. Location good - very near the station and underground. "

"The Citadines Danube has spacious and well-decorated rooms, and it's only two stops from the VIC (conference centre), and on a direct metro line into the centre. Citadines is basically an apart-hotel, so there's also a kitchenette. Three things: the studio and executive studio are basically the same except that executive studio is on a higher floor, has a coffee machine, and costs more. Second, the hotel only cleans room once a week. You want it cleaned more than that, you pay about 25 euros, which I think is ludicrous as the trash def needs to be taken out more than once a week if you're using the kitchenette. Third, reception could not be less interested in guests coming in. They weren't unfriendly, just very disinterested. Maybe that's because there are a lot of flight crews in the hotel and so they are used to people coming in for a night or for very short days. So, if you're coming in for a conference and hotels closer to the VIC are full, and you're happy to have a very anonymous experience, this hotel is fine. If you want a friendlier hotel with more amenities, I'd choose elsewhere."

"Positives: Location was good, close to Belvedere Palace, train station and great public transport links that are very quick into the centre. Room was large and spacious with a desk and table to woe from. Negatives: The check in was slow and there were long lines and waiting times. This could easily be resolved with more staffing or sharing check in links in advance, so crazy they have done nothing about it. No facility for making coffee in-room. To me this is a basic essential found in most accommodation across Europe. The fact I have paid for a studio with a kitchen, then at a minimum I expect to be able to make a cups of coffee. There was even a dishwasher and a microwave, and yet no coffee machine, or cafetière/french press. It’s a big miss for me as it’s such a basic and convenient item. Also not impressed that I had to argue the case at reception to then borrow a French press! Otherwise you should pay 25 euros for a kitchen box! "
