"My husband booked our trip last minute and we were absolutely impressed with our stay. We were greeted by Christian when we checked in and he was amazing! We stayed in the Amos King tobacco barn and it was gorgeous. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable! The outside exterior is meticulously maintained and the flowers are gorgeous. "I wish I had never booked with this hotel. The room was not clean by any standards. Brown smudges on the inside of the shower curtain. Hair all over the bathroom. Dirty dishes in the cupboards. The whole room smelled terrible the entire stay. There was absolutely no water pressure so I went to the desk on the first morning we were there and was told by the front desk lady that water pressure was room dependent and I could go buy a new shower head if I wanted. 😳 which brings me to the front...

"The property was peaceful, beautiful, well renovated, and the room was excellent. As amazing as the building was, the owner and her family were so much better. They were very hospitable and made an excellent homemade breakfast each day. We loved this property, this family, and made great memories."
