"We had an absolutely wonderful time in Miramare. The hotel is in splendid condition, the staff professional and friendly (Ivan in the reception, the Maro club staff to mention a few). Breakfast was excellent, dinner was good, although one restaurant option was closed at the time of our stay. The view from the hotel was breathtaking. "Lovely hotel located half way between Mirmare Castle and central Trieste, 5 mins from the waterfront, good bus service outside. Very quaint and old fashioned but perfectly functional and spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable. They provide rice crackers at breakfast, as an alternative to bread (useful if you are gluten free) Staff were friendly and helpful. Windows were double glazed in our 2nd floor room, so no problems with traffic noise. Free Wifi was ok for social media etc."
