I stayed 2 nights in a Mirembe cottage- my friend had the cottage next door and we had a dedicated outside eating area, from where we were served our food.We were served by James who was consistently courteous and efficient .We felt like film stars on a tropical island as we ate delicious food sitting by the lake watching a wide variety of birds - it was just such a treat!

The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want!

On business. Good location by the beach. Handy for amenities. Staff can't do enough. Unlike a larger hotel in Entebbe they sent the courtesy car to the airport. Very happy with the stay.

Salongo and his team went above and beyond to make my family comfortable. Salongo helped me cross a flooded road which was really helpful after my taxi had failed to find another route to the hotel. The place is very nice and cozy for a relaxing stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I’ve stayed in this hotel three times on several occasions. It’s my favourite place. Just love the place so much. The beach is very close, a minute walk. Clean and lovely rooms. The drop off to the airport is at a very reasonable price. Definitely be staying here again.
