But to honor the name, furniture in the rooms needs to be updated and better maintained, and staff at the restaurants should be better trained and have more experience (though Ariana was very nice and attentive). Staff at reception were kind and helpful). Overall, a good choice if you want to spend a few days in the beautiful Lago di Garda."

The campsite has a lovely little park which my little girl absolutely loved, and there was also evening entertainment which was great. "The resort is beautiful and the views are amazing. The room had everything you could wish for and housekeeping service was excellent. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because I found the level of service from the staff at reception, breakfast and the pool bar was not 5 star. In general staff were aloof and not welcoming or engaging. At breakfast they forgot our order and kept walking past our table. It clearing plates. At the pool bar they didn’t clear dirty plates and glasses from peoples tables and served warm beer. There is no excuse for that in a 5 star hotel. I recommend to the hotel that they invest more in staff training and how to give guests a true 5 star experience."
