"Don't even know where to start. This hotel was the highlight of a larger trip through Europe. The combination of old and new architecture is amazing. The spa is wondeful. Highlight was out bar tender though. Giuseppe made the best drinks ever. This place is top notch. Location is amazing, everything in walking distance. Staff is super helpful and friendly, goes the extra mile. This one really deserves the 'Grand' in their name."

"Excellent hotel with a fantastic view. Staff all very polite. Few minor issues: water by the pool should be free / there should be a water dispenser; guests should be able to borrow an iron (never been to a hotel where this wasn’t possible); staff don’t understand the concept of ice coffee which we found strange. "We were lucky to be upgraded to the new spa rooms which are excellent. spacious and well equipped. Location is beautiful with stunning views high up over lake Garda and if you want to get away from it all, its ideal. Dining options were good but some staff were new, food was good but more every day options would be good for residents Could benefit from a social area, bar or similar Be prepared for a 20 minute mountain road drive to access the hotel and visit Gargnano"

"This was a family trip with two kids , 10 &14 years old . It was a brilliant trip , staff including kitchen team were welcoming, experienced and friendly , food was amazing, generous , variety of Italian cuisine , freshly made, tailored to your taste and by order daily. we were treated as they would treat their family. Location is perfect for families who would like to do activities with children, cycling, swimming, walking , hiking, sailing. The view of the lake is amazing from the pool....

"We stayed here for our Minimoon and it was absolutely amazing. We had a room with a terrace, which had a perfect view of the lake. The room itself was recently renovated and spotless. The hotel has a lovely terrace where you have breakfast and dinner, with even better views and all the Italian charm you could hope for. The staff were all so polite and attentive, we felt looked after throughout. Would really recommend this hotel to anyone. "
