So quiet and al

We received a warm welcome from the owners despite Expedia's failure to tell them we'd actually booked some time earlier. Luckily the room had not been taken by someone else. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, elegantly modernized with all necessary facilities. Excellent breakfast.within walking distance of the basilica and the central sights.

I like fresh bread but It was too industrial made

Only stayed the one night in the room called “Cosy”. Don’t worry, it isn’t small! The character property has been renovated to a very high spec. All very clean and tastefully decorated. Our host was lovely. The place is tucked away in the town centre and a short walk from all the beautiful place has to offer. We’ll stay longer next time.

Not the most picturesque setting for a hotel but rooms were clean if on the small side. Did not use the pool or dining facilities as just passing through so cannot comment on these.

This is a lovely hotel. Unfortunately, we arrived during a heat wave and the air conditioning was not working. However, the owner had advised us in advance about the situation and couldn't have been more helpful in aiding a comfortable night's sleep by providing us with two fans. They worked very well and we had a good night's rest. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We had tea and coffee making facilities in our room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful area, central to explore by foot or the wider area by car.

We really enjoyed our stay at Château de la Motte. The owners went out of their way to be friendly and we loved our whole holiday. The chateau has loads of character, is in lovely grounds and is a special place to stay. We appreciated the excellent furnishings and enjoyed tremendous food each evening served terrific surroundings. If you want a standard B&B then this is not for you but if you are looking for something different, in a great location and with loads of character and interesting...

I arrived at the property late and the staff was kind enough to tell me how to get in.

Really helpful staff and great facilities. We loved the superb natural swimming pool. The evening meal and breakfast were very good. We felt really cared for and loved the friendly atmosphere of the place. Good value with excellent facilities. Highly recommended.
