"The room has a musky and moldy bad smell. TV was not working properly. Did mention to staff about the smell, they offered 2 other rooms and all were equally smelly. Took one that I thought smell the least but turns out the whole night it just got worst. Sheets were very moist, so uncomfortable and smelly. "Very close (walking distance if not raining) to the old city - allow a good day to cover it all, and this is one of the least commercialised water-towns accessible from Suzhou or Shanghai, but not much else to do there unless you're at a conference etc. that the hotel caters for. Good, comfortable, clean working room with full amenities, nice view of the lake, very good local arts shop in the lobby. "From Expedia i can see that the breakfast added is for 2 pax but the hotel staff insists that it only covers for 1 pax. The hotel is good for family holiday but nearby has nothing much. Didi is a must in order to access to nearest shops and food stalls."
