"We had the worst experience at this hotel. We reserved and paid in full six months in advance because we planned to meet our relatives from Ukraine and spend time around this area. When we arrived, the staff transferred our reservation to another hotel without our consent. They claimed due to electrical issue in the room. We believe it was because we paid at a lower price six months ago and the current price went up. They over booked and they decided to cancel ours so I they can offer our rooms...

"We liked everything about Castelfalfi. The staff were very professional and happy to help about any issue.
The restaurants were excellent, especially La Oliva. Excellent wine selections in all the restaurants.
Spa, pools, the excursions were all very well managed and great.
All and all we loved spending a whole week there. The fact that we were actually there to see Andrea Bocelli in concert was the icing on the cake.
Strongly recommend the whole experience."

"The room was many many years behind for a complete renovation. The grounds are nice to appreciate but maintenance could have been a little bit better. The air-conditioning in our room was barely working and I had to sleep in 30° temperature. Even though it’s a historic building, the maintenance could’ve been much better. The staff was kind and as helpful as they could be I cannot give this hotel more than a 3 1/2 star and not a five as it is indicated."

"We liked the Infinity pool but the deck around it was falling apart and there was bird poop all over the railings and the deck for the entire week we were there without being cleaned.
The first breakfast we had outside a very large seagull took our food right off our plates and it happened to another couple upstairs those birds are a big problem. We did like our room very much and the hotel is beautiful.
We would not return."
