Top 5th Arrondissement Hotel Reviews

Le Jardin De Verre by Locke

8/10 Good

"The room was very roomy. LOVEEEEE the balcony view! It has a restaurant but we were unable to use it because it was usually booked for private events. But the staff were very friendly and helpful! The staff is amazing. If you have questions for taxi or medicine they will assist! There is no cleaning service unless you are staying 4+ days and under your request. But don’t freak out they are very eco friendly to the point you have to use your key card to be able to use the lights in the room. And the service hotel would only communicate via their business WhatsApp. Would we stay here again? Yessss we will. Definitelllllyyyy love the balcony!!!!"

Hotel Jardin Des Plantes

8/10 Good

"Great location, quiet, family neighbourhood. Rooms are modern, shower a decent size for Paris. No fridge in the room as we often like milk for tea or some orange juice. There was no kettle either but there was a coffee machine with 2 pods provided. There also could’ve been more lighting in the stairwell. Staff were friendly and helpful."

Hôtel Pilgrim

8/10 Good

"Hotel Pilgrim is in a fantastic location. We were very happy with how close it was to the Seine and other major attractions. The staff at the hotel provided exceptional and genuinely friendly service. They were so helpful and kind. This hotel was quite pricy, and I did not think the value for money was there at the price paid. They could at least offer a complimentary coffee downstairs, or even a welcome drink to enjoy upstairs on their cozy rooftop patio. Unfortunately management has missed an opportunity to upgrade the customer experience with something very simple that many other hotels offer. The hotel also could benefit from better cleaning. The hallways smelled mouldy and the same sour mould smell was in the shower area in the bathroom. Most likely due to moisture and lack of ventilation. What I wish I knew before booking this hotel was that the toiled seat was so narrow. It is about half the width of a normal north american toilet seat so your seat is no wider than the rim. Extremely uncomfortable. I was too embarasssed to complain."
